Rudin Response to COVID-19:
Resources and Updates

A Note from our Chairmen

We hope you are staying healthy and well during these challenging times. Throughout this public health crisis, our top priority has been the safety and wellness of our customers, employees and building communities.

As we strategically plan for re-entry of our workplaces and buildings, we want to provide an update of our preparations and the protocols we will implement. Our initial guidelines have been developed based on public health guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the New York State Department of Health, and in consultation with an infectious disease medical professional. We will continue to closely monitor public health guidance as the COVID-19 pandemic evolves and adjust our protocols accordingly. More details will come as we get closer to returning to the office.

Our continued partnership and collective responsibility will be critical to a successful re-entry. We look forward to joining you in shared action to return to a safe and healthy building community.

Residential Buildings Update

Safety Protocols in our
Residential Buildings

From additional cleaning of the building's common areas, to hand sanitizer stations in the lobbies and laundry rooms, Rudin Management is committed to the health and safety of our residents.

  • Building staff are required to wear masks at all times.

  • Residents are required to wear masks in common areas of the buildings (elevator, lobby, laundry room).

  • We constantly update building staff on protocols to minimize the spread of the virus.

  • Frequent sanitizing will continue to be performed on all high touch surfaces in common areas of the building.

  • Social distancing is encouraged. We recommend that only a few people be in an elevator at one time. We have expanded laundry room hours.

  • Deliveries are left at the building front doors. Delivery people are no longer allowed up to apartments.

  • The building's front doors will be propped open (weather permitting) to minimize touch points for residents and staff. Residents may use the staircases to get to and from their apartments.
