Kevin Fitzgerald joined Rudin in 2004 and serves as Senior Vice President, Head of Security, leading all security strategy and operations for the organization. In his role, he directs enterprise‑wide risk management programs, emergency preparedness initiatives, and daily security operations across a diverse real estate portfolio.  

His background spans more than 20 years of collaboration with law enforcement agencies, the deployment of advanced access‑control and security technologies, and the development of high‑performing security teams. He is dedicated to fostering safe, resilient environments for tenants, visitors, and employees across New York’s fast‑paced commercial landscape. 

Before joining Rudin, Kevin served with the New York City Police Department for 20 years. He retired at the rank of Deputy Inspector and was the Commanding Officer of the 6th Precinct, overseeing the entire West Village.

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Community and Human Services from Empire State University. He is also a graduate of the Columbia/NYPD Police Management Institute (PMI) and the FBI National Academy.
