Generations of Innovation
For a century, we have been at the forefront of innovation. From the first fully wired office building at 55 Broad Street in 1995, to one of the city’s first sustainability-designed office buildings at 3 Times Square in 2001, to leveraging AI to automate building operations, Rudin has always looked to the future.
Strategic Investments
Through this lens, Rudin Ventures was created, and has built upon this legacy through strategic investments in early-stage technology companies and venture funds. These investments diversify our financial portfolio and add value to our property holdings, reinforcing our position as a forward-thinking industry leader well beyond physical spaces.
In addition to our venture investing, Rudin has also made select credit investments over the past five years. Through both funds and direct deals, Rudin has leveraged its deep understanding of real estate fundamentals to invest in both construction and transitionary loans to projects in and outside of New York.
Innovation in Action
Rudin’s commitment to emerging technology companies goes beyond revenue generation. The collaborative relationships that result from early investment allow Rudin to test and employ new technologies within its vast property holdings and provide a living laboratory for startups to test their ideas. These strategic relationships give Rudin's residential and office buildings a competitive advantage.
